Lupa is a non-profit media specialized in fact-checking, i.e. verifying the accuracy of information, claims or statements made in the public space in order to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information that is marketed to the public. Lupa was launched in September 2023 with the aim of combating disinformation at a time when the amount of misinformation on social networks and in the media is increasing and spreading at lightning speed, often directed against already vulnerable and marginalized social groups, which ultimately has very harmful effects on society.
